I’m not just a therapist. I’m a human who’s lived through seasons that cracked me open and taught me how to heal with intention.

Hi, I’m Shakyra!

A woman of faith, a deep feeler, and someone who’s been through life’s transitions and emerged with a heart for those walking the same path. I believe in the power of showing up as we are, without pretenses, and letting the healing happen in its own time.

Rooted in Faith. Guided by Purpose. Here to Hold Space.

  • I'm not here for surface-level healing or feel-good fluff. I walk with people through the deep and tender parts of life like grief, trauma, identity shifts, faith questions, and the quiet unraveling that often follows big life transitions. I've lived through my own versions of those moments, which is why I hold space with real empathy, gentle truth-telling, and zero pressure to have it all figured out.

  • Outside the therapy room, I lead psychoeducational workshops and panels that give voice to the emotional realities we’re so often taught to hide, like burnout, boundaries, brokenness, and the quiet beauty of becoming. I’m passionate about bridging the gap between mental wellness and faith, creating spaces where people feel both informed and spiritually seen. Whether I’m facilitating a workshop, joining a panel, or speaking to a room full of seekers, my heart stays the same: to remind people they’re not alone in their pain, their questions, or their healing.

  • I’ve cultivated a growing community of women called What The Mind Needs. This is a space for those who are healing out loud and no longer doing it alone. Through gatherings like Breathe, Sis and Sis, You’re Blooming, we create faith-rooted, peaceful experiences that invite women to pause, reflect, and reconnect with God, with self, and with each other.

This is the heart of what I do. Whether you’re here for therapy, to attend a gathering, or simply to feel seen, you belong here.
